This is an information website. It has no contact forms, quote forms, logins, newsletters or comment areas, so it does not ask for your name, contact details or details of your business. The personal information we can receive is limited to:

• Analytics information, only if you accept analytics cookies: the pages you visit, how you arrived, your approximate location (town or region), the device and browser you use, and the words you type into the website's search box.
• Emails you send us: your email address, name and anything you include in the message.
• Technical logs kept by our hosting company, such as IP address, browser type and the pages requested, used to keep the website secure.

We use Google Analytics, loaded through Google Tag Manager, to see which guides are read and where the website can be improved. It only runs if you accept analytics cookies in the cookie notice. If you decline, or ignore the notice, it does not run.

It is authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FRN 916241). Anything your business enters there is collected by MyMoneyComparison.com and shared with the brokers you are matched with, under their own privacy policies.

We do not receive or see the details you enter in the quote form. MyMoneyComparison.com may record that you arrived from this website so that it can pay us a commission, and may tell us how many referrals led to a conversation with a broker, without naming you.

If you email info@mybusinesscomparison.com, we use what you send only to reply and deal with your enquiry. We do not add you to a mailing list or share your email with anyone else, unless you ask us to pass a complaint on.

Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in answering people who contact us. We keep emails for up to two years after the enquiry is closed, unless we need them longer for a complaint or legal claim, and then delete them.

Please do not send sensitive information by email, such as health details, criminal convictions, claims documents or bank details.

A few outside services help the website run. Each receives your IP address when your browser connects to it:
